Basic Electrical Laboratory is used with the instutute core course "Basic Electrical Engineering". The experiments are designed to expose students to the practical executions of the fundamental theories of Electrical Engineering.
Diode and Transistors are basic building blocks to almost all electronic equipments. These Labs provides a comprehensive introduction to the electronic properties of semiconductors, technology, the theories and practices of the most important electronic devices, and their impacts on the performance of integrated circuits. The Lab also provides a practical perspective on electronic devices.
Electrical Machine laboratory is conducted for the undergraduate students in their second year. In this course students perform basic experiments on Transformers, DC machines, Inductions motors and Synchronous machines.
Power Electronics Laboratory is designed to expose students to the practical executions of the power converters.

Control Systems laboratory has been set up to provide the realistic environment. This Lab makes the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) understand the practical aspect of control system. How a control system is used for controlling errors.
This lab is concentrated on all types of relays, protection schemes for electrical machines, measurement of HVAC & HVDC, breakdown strength of transformer oil & field mapping using electrolytic tank for capacitor and Transmission lines.
